Performance Of Kechi Okwuchi, Sosoliso Plane Crash Survivor At 2017 America’s Got Talent

Kechi Okwuchi a survivor of the 2005 plane crash, the Portharcourt bound flight crashed on the runway killing  107 out of 109  people including her best friend who was sitting right next to her and also late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya,  Kechi was one of the two that survived.

Her recent delineation at 2017  America’s Got Talent 2017 is trending as she thrilled the judges and the audience with her brillant and heart-warming performance.




Kechi has had more than 100 surgeries, including skin grafts in the US as a result of the severe burns which she had all over her body. Doctors placed pins to support her hands but this didn’t stop her from reaching for outstanding greatness.

The fact that she was one of only two survivors on that plane made her story so touching .

She was a student of Loyola Jesuit College at the time, a boarding high school in Abuja and was on her way home for the holidays when the crash occurred.
